Adaptive adjustment of horizontal spiral centrifuge to different requirements

Horizontal spiral centrifuge is a kind of high-efficiency solid-liquid separation equipment, which is mainly used in the production of solid-liquid separation processing and production wastewater pollution treatment, in steel rolling mill, coal washing and dressing, papermaking and tanning and other fields of wastewater treatment. Different processing objects must have different requirements for machine performance parameters, so the equipment should be able to achieve adaptive adjustment.

For different separation objects, horizontal spiral centrifuges should also be adjusted accordingly. There are many adjustable parameters, including its length diameter ratio, drum half cone angle and pitch, and helical swept impeller. The larger the drum diameter is, the larger the settling area will be. The longer the diameter of the drum is, the longer the stop time of the material in the drum is, the stronger the effective sedimentation capacity will be, and the greater the centrifugal separation processing capacity will be.

When the centrifuge speed is the same, the material can obtain a larger separation factor, and the separation effect is naturally better; with the increase of diameter, the allowable speed will decrease with the decrease of material firmness, because of the limitation of material strength. The drum diameter of horizontal screw separator can only be as large as possible, but can not be increased unlimited.

In the separation processing of pitch and spiral swept impeller, there are two choices of drum length diameter ratio under the same processing capacity. Generally, the centrifuge with large drum diameter runs at a lower differential speed, and the small drum length diameter ratio must improve the difference speed to improve efficiency.

In order to ensure the clarification effect, of course, the bigger the half cone angle of the drum is, the better. However, starting from the slag conveying and dewatering effect in separation processing, the cone angle should be designed as small as possible. When the parameters are adjusted, the slag conveying condition will be preferred under the premise of ensuring the clarification effect. The current semi cone angle of difficult separation materials is generally less than 6 degrees, but the angle less than 10 degrees can meet the separation requirements of ordinary materials.

Pitch and screw pitch of the impeller are the key factors that directly affect the slag transportation. The screw pitch should be adjusted smaller for the materials that are difficult to separate from the slag conveying; the screw pitch should be adjusted larger for the easy separation materials with low slag conveying requirements in order to improve the conveying efficiency of the sediment; for the pitch and the type of the impeller scavenging screw of the spiral scavenging impeller, this machine is designed for the production line The parameters should be paid attention to when selecting.
