Working principle of disc centrifuge

Inside the drum there is a set of disc-shaped parts which are overlapped with each other. There is a small gap between the discs. The suspension (or emulsion) is added to the drum by a feed tube located in the center of the drum. When the suspension (or emulsion) flows through the gap between the discs, the solid particles (or droplets) settle on the disc under the action of the centrifuge to form sediment (or liquid layer). The sediment slides along the disc surface and separates from the disc and accumulates in the large diameter part of the drum. The separated liquid is discharged from the drum through the liquid outlet.

The role of the disc is to shorten the settling distance of solid particles (or droplets) and expand the settling area of the drum. The production capacity of the separator is greatly improved due to the installation of discs in the drum. The solid accumulated in the drum is removed manually after the separator is shut down, or discharged from the drum by slag discharging mechanism without stopping the machine.

Two operations of disc centrifuge:

1. Liquid solid separation (i.e. separation of bottom concentration suspension) is called clarification operation.

2. Liquid liquid separation (or liquid-liquid-solid) separation (i.e. separation of emulsion) is called separation operation.

After the iron pad is placed as required, it is checked with a level meter Measure and adjust the elevation of each group of pad iron, so that the elevation difference of the pad iron of the same equipment foundation is within the allowable deviation range, place the iron plate on the leveled pad iron, retest the levelness of the steel plate, support the formwork along the iron plate around the foundation, and start grouting after preparation, and fill the space between the foundation bolt hole and the foundation and iron plate with early strength non shrinkage CGM grouting material This kind of early strength grouting material will reach the strength after 24 hours. This kind of grouting material has good fluidity, can fill every gap, ensure the close contact between iron plate and grouting material, and make the foundation and steel plate form a whole, and increase the overall stability.
