The separation effect of horizontal spiral centrifuge is closely related to the selection of screen type. At present, there are three kinds of screen mesh, punching mesh and shear corrosion mesh in cone basket centrifuge. The cost of woven mesh is low, but the surface is not smooth. Although the leakage material is small, it is easy to block the net and needs to be cleaned with water. If assembled correctly, good separation can also be obtained.

It is suitable for mass production and has good separation effect. However, the tools used to process the net are difficult to manufacture and the service life of the net is short. The mesh gap is limited by the thickness of the sheet, and the thickness of the sheet is not more than 0.3 mm according to the hole requirements. The results show that the shear corrosion net has good separation effect, and the mesh gap is limited by the thickness of the plate. It can be machined 0.3-1 mm. The tool has a long service life, but the manufacturing cost is twice as much as the perforated plate, and the turbid liquid cannot be recovered at present.

The sealing structure of horizontal spiral centrifuge is very important, for example, the sealing effect is not good, which has a great impact on the quality of raw materials and products. At present, labyrinth structure is usually used. Along the axial clearance of centrifuge, the clearance of sealing structure is usually 2.5-3mm, while the radial clearance is 10mm. The radial clearance of another imitation labyrinth seal structure is about 6 mm, and the crystal is automatically accumulated at the sealing port to prevent the air flow in the cylinder from flowing out of the liquid mist.

There are many reasons for the vibration of horizontal screw centrifuge. It is required to pay close attention to the close cooperation of the drum in the screen components, maintain a certain rigidity, eliminate the operation imbalance, and take sealing measures to ensure good lubrication of the bearing and improve the operation performance. The conditions are favorable.

In order to prevent vibration, the installation accuracy of damper is very high, and the tightening of bolts must be consistent. Some rubber pads have metal protective cover on the outer ring to prevent rubber pad corrosion and make rubber pad lose elasticity.

There are two methods to calibrate the horizontal screw separator. One is to fine tune the search method. The sensor is installed on the micro displacement mechanism, and the sensitive shaft is along the radius of the drum. Before rotation, the cylinder rotates at a speed of (250-300) rpm, and the sensor is transferred in the direction of the sensitive axis through a micro displacement mechanism until its output is approximately equal to zero.

In each calibration, the sensor is mounted in the same position on the turret or arm, but its sensitive axis rotates 180 degrees radially. In the two calibrations, the sensor is installed in the same position on the table mounting point. In order to determine the centroid of the sensor, the clamping position of the sensor is continuously changed and adjusted at the same position of the horizontal spiral centrifuge to make the two calibration output voltages equal. At this time, the clamping position of the sensor is the center of gravity.
