Skills and matters needing attention to improve working efficiency of horizontal spiral centrifuge

In order to improve the working efficiency of horizontal spiral centrifuge, in the case of ensuring safety, when separating and processing materials with no corrosion or small corrosivity, the rotating speed of separation drum of horizontal centrifuge can be relatively increased; the large filtering area of the drum is conducive to improving the separation efficiency, efforts should be made to increase the filtering area in the drum of horizontal spiral centrifuge.

For example, the filter lining can be added, which can keep a small gap between the rotating drums of the horizontal spiral centrifuge and improve the water permeability; the cross-section area can be increased by increasing the V-shaped filter baffle. Increase the centrifugal separation time of materials, if necessary, a small amount of multiple dehydration method can be used to reduce the amount of filtering materials per time of horizontal spiral centrifuge, so as to ensure the solid-liquid separation effect. Moreover, pretreatment is very important. If viscous materials are separated and processed, such pretreatment operations as washing should be carried out within the allowable range of the process. Measures should be taken to increase the particle size of solid materials In order to extend the separation and processing capacity of horizontal spiral centrifuge, flocculant, coagulant aid and precipitant can be added to improve the separation efficiency of horizontal spiral centrifuge.

Due to the large rotational inertia, large starting current and long duration of the horizontal spiral centrifuge, the electrical equipment and circuit should be able to bear a large load; do not exceed the speed and solid density specified in the name plate or manual of the horizontal spiral centrifuge. Before the machine is installed firmly, it is not allowed to operate the horizontal spiral centrifuge; before starting, the cover compression bolts and belt cover fixing bolts should be tightened.

When operating the horizontal spiral centrifuge, if there is obvious abnormality and vibration, stop the machine immediately for inspection; when the rotating parts such as drum and screw pusher need welding and grinding, contact the original manufacturer. When the centrifugal machine is not used for a long time, the power supply of the main and auxiliary motors should be disconnected; when not in use, the drum should be turned manually at least once a week.

Any horizontal spiral centrifuge has the requirement of processing capacity. There are two aspects of data for reference. On the one hand, it can handle the dry solid load, i.e. the non evaporating solid components treated per hour; on the other hand, it can be treated. The hydraulic load (sludge flowing into the equipment) is the dry solid load of the incoming mud concentration product.

When the sludge concentration is normal, the dry solid load of the equipment should be ensured to be 70% to 90% of the theoretical load of the equipment specified by the equipment factory. In order to prevent the equipment utilization rate too low, please prevent the horizontal spiral centrifuge from being too high for a long time. Operation under load is accelerated and maintenance cycle is shortened.

When the horizontal screw separator is overloaded, no matter how much flocculant is added, the treatment effect will not be improved, and the performance of mud biscuit is not ambiguous. The higher solid degree and recovery rate of the supernatant are reduced because the sediment overflows with the supernatant to form equipment wear, the dynamic balance is damaged and the feeling is aggravated.
